Shark Champions announced at Dive Show '08

one of six companies to be
recognised as Shark Champions

The Shark Trust was delighted to take the opportunity at the Birmingham NEC Dive Show to announce Dive, Diver, Ocean Optics, Cameras Underwater, Reef Jewelry and Fourth Element as its Shark Champions for 2008.
The new awards recognise and reward companies or individuals who have helped, and will in the future help, the Trust take it's important work forward.
Shark Trust Chairman Richard Peirce attended the Dive Show on 1st and 2nd November, where some of the awards were presented and said " For many years the Trust has sought a way of rewarding and recognising longterm support from companies and institutions. Our first six Shark Champions have given the Trust hugely valuable support and we hope to recognise more champions in the future."
The Shark Champions were nominated by the Trust office staff and Trustees before being unanimously agreed upon by the Shark Trust board.
The Shark Trust is very grateful to all the companies who have helped over the years and will continue to recognise their support by annually awarding two companies as Shark Champions.
