For donations above £300

The Shark Trust would like to thank the following people for recent donations contributed from sponsored events and fundraising over the past year: 

 URENCO Ltd made a generous donation of £325 to the Trust.

 Somerville House Pupils from the Federation of Ramsgate Grammar Schools raised a fantastic £420.30p during their Charity Fundraising Week.

 Antoine Predock generously donated £500.

Petronella Du Preez generously donated another £100 to the Shark Trust in November. Mrs Preeze appears on our Gold Wall of Fame due to her regular donations to the Trust.

 Aquatic Element raised £475.86 during Shark Awareness Week in Windsor.

 Brighton Shark Dive raised £740 from a sponsored tank dive, joining sharks in their home at the local Sealife centre.  The cheque was accepted on behalf of the Shark Trust by long time Shark Trust supporters Danny and Cathie Aslan.

 Hong Kong International School held an art exhibition and sale, raising £1587.77!

 Natalie Tilsey competed in the London Triathlon on 9th August to raise £353 for the Shark Trust. 

 Beverley Collyer, Angela Palmer and Jennie Faulkner successfully reached the summit of Mount Snowdon and raised £314 for the Shark Trust.

 Aquatic Element Dive Centre in Windsor raised £370 for the Shark Trust by holding three Sharkwater DVD Evenings.

 Liam Byers from Orca Divers raised £335 by donating a diving holiday as a raffle prize.

 Rotherglen School, Ontario raised £305 and adopted two sharks after holding a halloween dance.

 ORCA Divers raised £340 for the Shark Trust through a Curry & Quiz night!

The Shark Trust promotes the study, management and conservation of sharks, skates and rays. The Shark Trust is the UK member of the European Elasmobranch Association. As such, it collaborates with other national member bodies to achieve their aims in British, European and international waters. The Trust aims to join forces with other groups concerned with shark, skate and ray conservation issues. These include commercial fisherman, recreational sea anglers, divers, yachtsmen, and all those who want to ensure the future survival of these fascinating but threatened animals.
