Adopt a Shark
The Shark Trust currently offers three adoption programmes; Basking Shark, White Shark and Whale Shark. Our shark adoption programmes not only make wonderful gifts but also fund shark research projects on these species - learning more about these mysterious animals is key to their conservation.

Shark Trust Projects

➤ Great Eggcase Hunt - help shark conservation by searching your local beach for washed up eggcases

➤ Basking Shark Project – keep an eye out for Basking Sharks during the summer months and report any sightings to us.

➤ Shark Sightings Database – If you’re lucky enough to spot a shark, let us know by recording it on our Database.

➤ Angler’s Recording Project – we’re looking for anglers to help us record the Southwest's Natural Heritage.

Volunteer
Help sharks by giving your time. You don’t need to be a shark expert to volunteer with the Shark Trust, however a passion and commitment to shark conservation is essential.

Fundraise for the Shark Trust
If you’re inspired to fundraise for the Shark Trust then please contact us with details of your event and we will send you a fundraising pack, which includes a Shark Trust logo for fundraisers and a sponsorship form.

Shark Trust Shop
Find an array of shark related merchandise, for shark enthusiasts of all ages, in our shark shop. Not only do they make lovely gifts but all proceeds go towards shark conservation.
