Events Men's 10k - Glasgow 2019 -1637 days -8 hours -46 mins -18 secs Fundraising Target £100 Men's 10K is a series of timed 10K runs that provides a proactive and challenging way to engage men in healthy physical activity, to promote health and wellbeing all year round. These runs are open to men aged 15 years and above so why not run it as a father & son event! The Men’s 10K in Glasgow starts at the spectacular setting of the Riverside Transport Museum. The route heads East along the River Clyde and takes in the scenic views. Iconic buildings to look out for include the Glasgow Science Centre, The Armadillo, The SECC and the SSE Hydro and all within the first 2KM. The route then heads under the Kingston Bridge, crossing over the Clyde via George V Bridge, and back via Glasgow Bridge as you approach the halfway point. The second half of the route will take you past the south side of George Square and down towards Glasgow Green, crossing the Clyde twice more via Crown Street and Kings Bridge, before heading back towards George Square where cheering crowds await to help in one last effort to cross the finish line where you’ll receive your well earned medal, water and goodybag. To sign up for this event you’ll need to pay a £25 deposit and commit to a fundraising target of £100. Once you've paid the deposit, we’ll be in contact with you regarding your challenge and registration. We’ll then pay the organisers registration fee.You’ll be sent our fundraising guide and a personalised Shark Trust branded sports top to wear. We'll be in contact with you as much (or as little) as you’d like, offering support, encouragement and cheer. If you raise over £500 you’ll receive a year’s membership to the Shark Trust.
