We're a team of 4 (Grace, Lou, Ned and Jacob) that likes to get outside and enjoy the natural environment and if we can challenge ourselves in the process then all the better. We're no strangers to ultras and events like this, but this is the first (hopefully of many!) that we'll have done as a team.

Devon's an area we know well so we won't be underestimating the challenge this landscape presents for a 100km Coast 2 Coast traverse. We'll be getting plenty of training hours in on the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor, maybe with the odd cream tea (jam on top obviously) to fuel us along the way.

As we walk between two of Devon's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we'll be surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes and vistas that provide significant and vital habitats to so many species. Despite designations such as these, our waters are often overlooked, their remoteness and comparative inaccessibility leaving them an unappreciated mystery to too many.

By supporting the Shark Trust, we hope to raise awareness of one of the many areas of marine life we still know so little about, and yet have a devastating impact upon everyday through our actions and inaction.

If you support our fundraising efforts, you'll be helping the Shark Trust to continue their vital work, raising awareness and improving understanding of sharks and rays, so that hopefully we can start to see species moving off those vulnerable and endangered lists. So go on, give us a tenner, and we'll walk 100km, so you don't have to…
