Fifteen and a half miles – in a shark onesie!

Sharks are one of my top three favourite animals, and I love them for the same reasons that I love snakes and wolves: the mystique, the majesty and the misunderstanding. Sharks are essential for the health of marine ecosystems and are seriously endangered through the deadly trifecta: a combination of over-fishing, demand for shark-based products and habitat destruction.

Besides a handful of 5km races, this is the first time I’ve attempted what (for me!) will be a serious physical challenge – 26km (15.5 miles) trekking across the Thames Bridges this September.

All money raised via this page will go to the Shark Trust to support their amazing work in helping conserve and protect endangered sharks, skates and rays. If that wasn’t enough reason to sponsor me, I will also be doing this challenge in a shark onesie (photographic evidence will be uploaded at the end of the challenge). Please donate if you can to help save the sharks! Thank you!
