You all know I'm an ocean lover, and sharks are some of the coolest and most misunderstood creatures in the big blue! Due to some human activities like overfishing, sharks are in serious danger, so lets #DoSomeFin ! Saving sharks is saving ourselves...

Sharks have lived in our oceans for over 400 million years. But, today, many species are under threat. Almost 1/4 of all shark species worldwide are now threatened with extinction. That makes them one of the most endangered groups of animals on our planet!

The ocean is the lifeblood of our planet. It covers three quarters of the earth's surface and provides more than 50% of the oxygen we breath! Crazy right!? And as the apex predator of the seas, sharks play a vital role in keeping our oceans healthy, and therefore our planet healthy! And we all want a healthy planet.

I'll be taking part in the Jurrasic Coast Challenge to raise funds for Shark Trust, and also to raise awareness of how awesome and vitally important sharks are, they aren't scary monsters we should discard, we need them in our oceans and our future!

I'll be representing my #CrazySharkLady status by sporting some rather attractive shark leggings and backpack on the walk...pictures to follow!
