The Shark Trust is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data it holds. This privacy policy is intended to inform you how the Shark Trust gathers, defines, and uses your Information (as defined below). It applies to Information collected by the Shark Trust, or provided by you, via the Shark Trust mobile App (the “App”). It is also intended to assist you in making informed decisions when using our App. Please take a minute to read and understand the policy.

This Privacy Policy forms part of the App License Agreement. The Shark Trust is the data controller of your Information.

   What information do we collect?
   When you use the App you may provide us with personal information such as name, email address and telephone number, location, device model (“information”). You may provide us with information in a number of ways:

1. By supplying us with information by registering to use the App: the only pieces of personal information you have to provide is your name and email address.
2. During app usage data will be collected by Google Analytics as per Google Analytics’ Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/) this will include: device model and operating system information, location data based on the IP address, app usage data, including, but not limited to screen loading time, time spent on a screen etc. and app crash data, including, but not limited to application stack. The sending of usage statistics can be disabled from the “about the App” screen.

2. How do we use the information that you provide to us?

We use your information provided to enable your shark finds to be logged on the Shark Trust database to your details.

1. Submitted data will be used to provide logged-in users the ability to view their finds in a logbook format.

3. Will my personal information be provided to third parties?

The Shark Trust will only share your personal information with its agents or sub-contractors solely for the purposes of delivering the products and services you have requested by using the App.

By using our App you consent to our collection and use of the Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

   How can you access your Information?
   You may request access to all your personal information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing [email protected] account (subject: FAO the App administrator).

   All communication to/from the App will be protected by SSL encryption.
