This global programme is the foundation of our fisheries work. Combining the power of Science, Policy and Advocacy to end the overfishing of high seas sharks and rays. Tackling fisheries head-on makes this an essential programme for a host of iconic species.
Community Engagement
We believe in the power of collective action and the value of working with communities to encourage best practices around sharks and rays. Our community engagement projects create the conditions for people’s interest in sharks to be translated into genuine conservation.
Living with Sharks:
Living with Sharks looks to a future where sharks are more abundant while coastal communities continue to grow. This initiative anticipates and mitigates against potential human-animal conflicts, protecting conservation gains and setting us on a path to coexistence.
