I am a graphic designer in Austin,Texas and have been working on a book about sharks for a few months that is primarily focused on illustration rather than information, though it does include facts about various intriguing sharks. At the end of the book,I direct purchasers to a variety of organizations protecting and advocating for sharks, and have selected you guys to receive 25% of the proceeds from this project! I'm also wanting to start a fundraiser to potentailly raise more funds!

I want to do something to help protect sharks because they are fascinating animals and they are at risk of going extinct if we keep killing them. That would be really sad. It’s up to us to do something to protect them so I want collect some money and raise awareness. Some sharks have their fins cut off for soup and others are caught in fishing nets. I want other people to know how fascinating they are so they would rather keep them alive.

Hi. I’m Orla, I’m 6 years old and LOVE sharks. I like to learn about them and they are my favourite animal. When I went swimming with sharks, I was sad to hear that 100,000,000 sharks get taken from the sea every year. I work in a wildlife and conservation park, I specialize in aquatic animals. Since working in the industry I have noticed aquatic animals are generally the least popular animals as people prefer the big fluffy animals. I have decided to raise money for the shark trust to hopefully fundraise money that will help reach their conservation goals, but also to help educate the public about the threats that sharks face in the wild and what we can do to help. Also I just love sharks and rays :)
